The 7th edition of the Otaku Festival will be held this weekend, on May 11 and 12 starting 11:00, at the Romanian-American University in Bucharest.

Otaku Festival 2013 aims to bring together both Japanese cultural elements, and those that fall under the technical-scientific area.

The event is designed as an independent platform in order to bring together Japanese culture enthusiasts and gamers (fighting games, indie games and old school games) and also video consoles. The festival provides both hobbyists and amateurs of non-formal elements, shown in numerous workshops, presentations, games, exhibitions and competitions.

More informations about the festival can be found on the website.

Tickets can be bought from bilete.ro or otakufestival.com and cost RON 15 (one day ticket) and RON 25 (2 days ticket).
