Romania is preparing for the biggest Bass music festival in Europe, Outlook Festival 2013, where some of the most popular bass artists will perform on March 23 at Arenele Romane in Bucharest.

International artists such as DELTA HEAVY, DUB PHIZIX & MC Strategy and PLANAS will perform along with Romanian artist Dani Agmantav at the Launch Romania Party tour, which has developed this year.

British band DELTA HEAVY consists of Ben Hall and Simon James, two young artists who became famous due to their debut single “Space Time”, that brought them nominalisations at DRUM&BASS ARENA AWARDS in 2010. They also remixed song for Example, Avicii, Chase & Status and Tinie Tempah. Delta Heavy are known for their eclectic style, which knocks down the musical genres barriers, bringing drum and bass, dubstep and electro into the same song.

British Drum and Bass producer Dub Phizix began his obsession with music over 20 years ago. He is an accomplished producer having made music in a variety of styles for MTV, BBC, Nokia and 4Music.

MC Strategy has played with Wu-Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg and Busta Rhymes. The sets from Dub Phizix combine classic songs, often forgotten, with the latest releases and unreleased tracks.

Planas, aka Toby Davies is a British musician, who creates bass-driven music usually around dubstep tempo.

Dani Agmantav is a Romanian artist who began his musical activity in 2004, at Craiova. Over time, in his sets, beside break beat, also made their appearance drum and bass, dubstep and parts of the UK dub, roots reggae, grime and ragga-jungle.

Outlook Festival is the largest Bass music and Soundsystem Culture festival in Europe, featuring the most popular names from the underground music scene.

The event will begin at 22:00. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Boarder’s shop in Old Town and cost RON 20, and in the night of the event (at the gate) at RON 30.
