Equestria Riding Club and Romanian Equestrian Federation organizes between 23rd – 26th of July, the national competition of jumping over obstacles “Romanian Cup”, in the third stage of the Equestrian Tour Salonul Calului. During four days, the competition brings together about 160 horses and 90 riders from all over the country, who will participate in 19 jumping tests with different levels of difficulty.
“In June we organized the second stage of Equestrian Tour Salonul Calului and now Equestria continues the competitive season with a national competition of jumping over obstacles – Romanian Cup. Through this competition, we aim to encourage a large number of athletes from Romania to participate in competitions and so, riding becomes a sport more known in our country. The complex structure, with 19 interesting tests for both children and seniors and the total value of the prizes, which reaches amount of 45,000 lei, convince the athletes to enroll and gain the experience of large-scale competitions”, said Ozana Moraru, owner at Equestria and president of Equestria Club.
Romanian Cup begins Thursday, 23rd of July, when is the start of jumping tests for all levels of horses, beginners or experienced, but also for all riders – amateur, children, juniors, and seniors. Children and amateurs can participate in tests E and F, where the difficulty level is low, while experienced athletes can register at tests with D,C,B or A level. The national jumping over obstacles competition ends Sunday, 26th of July, with the most difficult test, A level. The competitors who get the best scores in these tests will be the winners of Romanian Cup for the category they represent.
Next period, Equestria Riding Club organizes also three competitions, including two at the discipline “Jumping over obstacles”: the Final Romanian Grand Prix and the Final of the Amateurs Championship, between 17th-20th of September and also the Final of Equestria Tour Salonul Calului and the Final of Force Championship, between 24th-27th of September. At the discipline “Sports Dressage”, Equestria organizes Challenge Dressage, between 22nd – 23rd of September.
