Padina Fest, the event targeting lovers of both music and mountain sports, starts July 23rd at the Padina plateau in the Bucegi Mountains. The festival is on until July 26th.

During the day, participants will take part in sports events and recreational activities such as rock climbing, tyrolean traverses and adventure workshops, while evenings are dedicated to concerts.

Three groups are scheduled to perform on Thursday: The Purple Dandies, Gray Matters and Posta Mare, while rock and alternative groups of the moment Alternosfera, Luna Amara, Robin and the Backstabbers, and Firma are scheduled for Friday night. Saturday evening is taken by Suie Paparude, Firkin (Hungary), Naked (Serbia) and Niste  Baieti.

Another highlight of the event will be the opening of the Ialomita cave, which has been closed over the past year for refurbishment works. The event will be marked by a concert delivered by Camerata Muntenia on Saturday morning.
