Espacio femenino (Feminine space) is a three-day series of screenings taking place at the Cervantes Institute in Bucharest and featuring productions of Spanish women directors. Ten shorts and one feature film will be shown as part of the event, which takes place March 7th to March 9th, starting 19.00.
This year’s selection of films is meant to highlight the cinematic productions of women directors and their presence in the Spanish cinema industry.
March 7th will see the screening of Flexibility (Remedios Crespo), La buena fe (Begoña Soler), Madrid (Janaina Marqués), Nire Aitaren Etxea (Irene Bau) and El deseo de la civilización (Carolina Astudillo). Generación K (Gemma Badía), Juliana (Jana Herreros), Sarirosa (María José Anrubia), Celebraciones (Paz Piñar) and Eso otro (Marta Onzain y Alberto R. Peña-Marín) will be screened on March 8th. Virginia García del Pino’s documentary La decima carta will be shown on March 9th.
