An event aiming to gather 12,000 Romanians to learn first-aid maneuvers will take place May 28th at the National Arena in Bucharest. The event is organized by the Bucharest Emergency Service (Societatea de Salvare Bucureşti) and the Ilfov Ambulance Service.
At this record course every participant will practice on a mannequin the standard procedure of 30 cardiac compressions and breathing. Over 600 certified instructors will be present at the event, as will a representative of Guinness World Records (GWR).
Over 7,000 people have registered so far to take part in the event. Registrations are open and can be done here.
A similar event took place in 2011, when 7,402 participants attended.
