Robi, the recent appearance on the French electro-pop scene, will perform live for the first time in front of the Romanian audience, on May 31, at J’ai Bistrot Garden in Bucharest.
Also known Chloe Robineau, singer and songwriter, she managed to impress the French audience and music critics in less than a year. Her debut album, L’Hiver et la joie, released in February this year, already contains two hit singles: “On our meurt plus d’amour”, chosen video of 2012 by Les Inrockuptibles readers, and “Ou suis-je”, an electro-punk song in which she reveals Anglo-Saxon influences.
Robi’s music approaches poetic themes such as time, love, illusion or absolute, and her influences are diverse: from Joy Division and Young Marble Giants to Beth Gibbons (Portishead), Suicide, The Kills, PJ Harvey or Fiona Apple.
The concert will begin at 20:00, and the tickets cost Ron 15 at the gate.
