Romanian Design Week 2014 will kick off this weekend, starting May 16 and will run until May 25, at the Chamber of Commerce Palace in Bucharest. The main theme of this year edition is design in public spaces and the way design is improving people’s life.
This edition will include the following domains: graphic design, branding and advertising, architecture, urban planning and interior design, fashion design, product design and lifestyle design (food design, sound design and digital design) .will focus on the importance of design in public spaces and the way design is actually improving our daily life.
The event is dedicated to Romanian design, and will involve cultural venues, galleries, design studios, hotels and restaurants. It will include exhibitions, pop-up shops, creative conferences, parties and other events. More info here.
