Oscar-nominated composer Philip Glass together with Grammy-winning Kronos Quartet will be in Romania at the beginning of July to deliver two performances of the Dracula – Music and Film show, combining music and film. They will take place on July 4th and July 5th in the Herastrau Park in Bucharest.

The show brings on stage a screening of Bela Lugosi cult 1931 film Dracula and a soundtrack composed for the film in 1998 by Philip Glass, who will deliver a live performance of it, together with the Kronos Quartet. The show was previously presented in sold out representations at the Los Angeles Opera, in New York and London.

Philip Glass is known for works such as Einstein on the Beach or The Voyage and the soundtrack of films such as The Hours, staring Nicole Kidman or Notes on a Scandal, featuring Cate Blanchett and Judi Dench.
