The food culture festival Transilvania Gastronomica (Gastronomic Transylvania) will hold its second edition between September 1st and September 4th in Sibiu.

Those attending the event will have the opportunity to discover and understand the authentic local gastronomy, both food and seasonal recipes, through seven culinary events. At the same time, the festival supports and encourages the growth of the community of those appreciating and promoting the authentic gastronomic culture in southern Transylvania and consume local products.

At the event, the Cibin Market is promoted as a tourist and gastronomic attraction. Visitors are expected here with recipes and many culinary and cultural moments. At the same time, several Sibiu restaurants will host brunches, dinners and other events presenting products from the Sibiu and Transylvania area. The festival area at Redal Expo will host a live cooking and tasting area, where 150 years old recipes will be presented and reinterpreted using local, season products.
