UK soul singer Joss Stone will have her first concert in Romania on September 8th in Timisoara. The concert is part of the artist’s Total World Tour and is included in the Plai Festival held in the city.

Stone, who is the 2015 Billboard “Reggae Artist of the Year”, received three Grammy nominations for Best New Artist, Best Vocal Pop Performance and Best Vocal Pop Album. She won the Grammy for the Best R&B Performance in a Duet or Vocal Group in 2007. Besides the Grammy, Stone has earned numerous other accolades, including two Brit Awards. She also made her film acting debut in 2006 with the fantasy adventure film Eragon, and made her television debut portraying Anne of Cleves in the Showtime series The Tudors in 2009.

Her second album, Mind Body & Soul, spawned the top ten hit “You Had Me”, Stone’s most successful single on the UK Singles Chart to date.
