Until Friday, December 5, art lovers have the last chance to visit Locuri (Places) – the Ștefan Câlția painting exhibition at the Art Museum in Timișoara. The 72 years old artist is an emblematic figure of contemporary Romanian visual art, professor at the Fine Arts University in Bucharest, with works exhibited in museums and galleries around the world, such as the Norwegian Museum of Contemporary Art in Norway or the Museum of Fantastic Arts in Switzerland.
The exhibition on the second floor of the Timișoara Art Museum brings to light 50 paintings and drawings, half of them exhibited in premiere in Romania.
The opening of the exhibition coincided with the launch of the Locuri printed album at Curtea Veche Publishing, now available in book shops.
