American photographer Davin Ellicson, who has been living in Bucharest for the past five years, will hold an intensive street photography workshop in Bucharest on June 20th – 21st. The goal of the sessions is to perfect one’s street shooting skills and the art of spontaneous photography by exploring Bucharest as well as how to edit, select and sequence photographs intuitively. The workshop is open to amateurs and professionals alike.
The workshop will begin with individual portfolio reviews. Ellicson will show the work of classic masters such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Frank, Garry Winogrand, Josef Koudelka, Gueorgui Pinkhassov and Alex Webb among others. The principles of street photography will be discussed before participants head out to explore the hidden back streets of Bucharest.
