The first edition of the Szekely Fair will take place at Romexpo between May 7th and May 8th, and aims to serve as a foray into the Szekely culture in Romania.
Around 40 craftsmen and exhibitors coming from the Szekely region will attend the opening of the fair, which will also see the launch of a film and monograph studying the Szekely traditions and crafts in their natural environment.
At the fair, the public will get the opportunity to see craftsmen design traditional objects, ranging from small furniture pieces to ceramics and fabrics. Traditional music and dances of the region will also be present at the event.
