Victoria Gallery Art Center in partnership with the National University of Arts in Bucharest are hosting an exhibition called “The City seen by the 80’s Generation” between April 4 and May 25 at Victoria Gallery Art Center.
During the exhibition will be organized events like Mircea Florian evening, a roundtable: The Visible Cities / The Invisible Cities, and an 80’s poetry evening that follows the urban condition theme.
The authors whose works will be exhibited are living and working in Bucharest, Oradea, Cluj, Timisoara, Sibiu, St. Gheorghe, and some from Amsterdam and Düsseldorf. They reveal the ruthless of the uncomfortable urban and socio-political realities, maintaining at the same time, its sensitivity, mystery, and poetry.
Victoria Art Center for Contemporary Cultural Production is a space dedicated to contemporary art, created from a private initiative to support Romanian artists.
The exhibition can be visited every Tuesday to Friday between 15:00 and 19:00, and Saturday between 11:00 and 15:00.
