The second edition of the Embassies’ Festival takes place in Bucharest between August 29th and September 4th in three locations: the Romexpo exhibition center, the National Theater and Romanian Peasant Museum Cinema.
This year’s event is developed around the theme of the family, and diplomatic missions, consulates, cultural institutes and multicultural organizations in Romania are expected to provide the public with insights related to cultural diversity and the links between various cultures.
The program includes world music concerts, traditional dances, ethnographic exhibitions, film screenings, a world food market, craft products, storytelling and traditional cultural ceremonies workshops, theater performances and events for children.
The National Theater will host the indoor World Art area, featuring contemporary and traditional art exhibitions and various cultural ceremonies. Films coming from more than twelve countries will be screened at the Romanian Peasant Museum Cinema, while Romexpo will feature the Word Bazaar outdoor area, where various music, dance and other performances will take place.
