The fourth edition of a gastro-cultural weekend event will take place during February 14 – 15 at the Balassi Hungarian Institute in Bucharest. Starting February 2015, the Ozosep fair will be organized every month on 8 Gina Patrichi Street, giving Bucharesters the chance to enjoy 100% natural products, made by small producers from Romania’s Carpathian region.

Over 25 producers in Harghita County will attend this edition, bringing – besides traditional products such as dried and fresh sausages, seasoned scruff steak cooked in the oven, or flavored liver sausages and flavored bacon – various wild game specialties: from bear, to wild boar and deer salami.

Gourmets can taste traditional cheese specialties adapted to modern tastes and new technologies, such as cheeses with noble mold, those smoked with garlic and various specialties with spices or nuts. Here, visitors can find fresh homemade bread, homemade cakes, honey produced in the mountains, syrups and fruit jams free and even artisan beer prepared in Miercurea Ciuc. Natural cosmetics, handcrafts, wooden toys and clothing inspired by folk art will not miss at the fair.

Entrance is free, during 11:00 and 18.00. On both days, from 11:30 to 13:00, children can join handcrafting workshops under the guidance of the staff at the fair.

The fair is organized by the Association of Hungarian Economists in Romania together with the Agricultural Chamber of the Harghita county.
