Starting May 24th until May 26th, over 70 competitors from 19 countries will be part of Transylvania Horse Show, the most popular international equestrian contest in Romania, that reaches its 3rd edition this year.

The event will take place in an idyllic landscape, in the near vicinity of Sighisoara, Prod village, Hoghilag district, which is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe, ideal for both equestrian sportsmen and horse lovers.

The event hosts 3 different contests that are highlighted by a series of related happenings dedicated to delight the public:

The Balkan Eventing Championship, event dedicated to professional sportsmen from the Balkans, Romanian, Turkish and Bulgarian competitors that qualified last weekend in the preliminary stage that took place in Bulgaria, at Schumen.

The Concours Complet International (CCI): within this discipline, the riders will have to face 3 trials:

dressage, show-jumping and cross-country.

AIEC Student Riders Nation Cup – Romania 2013: students from all over the world will have to compete on 2 trials: dressage and show -jumping.

The competition stretches across 3 full days. Every contest day will start at 9 and will end at 17:30. The complete schedule and other useful information can be found here.
