The Très Court Film Festival will take place in Bucharest from June 3rd to June 5th at the Elvire Popesco cinema and the Chez Elvire terrace of the French Institute. This is the 18th edition of the event, which gets screened simultaneously in 80 cities across 5 continents.

Having a shorter duration than a short, the ‘very short’ film lasts for three minutes. The program of the festivals includes a variety of genres: documentary films, animation or experimental films. It has four separate selections: an international competition; the Paroles de Femmes section, highlighting the role of women in cinema; the Très Courts Familial section, dedicated to children; and the national selection Around the Très Courts Romania, a round-up of shorts made in Romania over the past years.

Tickets for the event cost RON 5 and are available here.
