Until December 7, the exhibition “The Great War. The Neutralism. 1914/ 1916″ at the National Museum of Art in Bucharest presents the situation of the Romanian Kingdom before the outbreak of the conflict, the foreign policy at the beginning of the XXth century, the Crown Council on July 21 1914 (when adopting neutralism was decided), the period of actual neutralism (the society’s attitude towards the war, how the political sides reacted), the diplomatic negotiations, the Crown Council on August 14 1916 (when entering the war was decided). The exhibition includes archive documents, photos and press materials.
