The Village of Crafts, a project looking at the development of the local community by creating support structures made up of small craft business, is opening May 7th in Comana, 32 kilometers south of Bucharest.

The project covers wood manufacturing, smithery, reed weaving, pottery, weaving, traditional milling, and the processing of fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants, and highlights crafts and their importance. Besides visiting the site, the public can also purchase various products manufactured here but also attend various educational activities, such as demonstrations or workshops of children and adults.
