The White Night of Galleries takes place on September 30th in ten cities across Romania: Arad, Baia Mare, Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Craiova, Sibiu, Târgu Mureș and Timișoara.

The tenth edition of the event aims to showcase the latest trends in local and international contemporary art. Over 150 venues in the country – galleries, alternative spaces, creative hubs – will open for one night with a diverse and dynamic program.

“The presence of foreign guests is an added opportunity to create connections between the local and the international artistic scene. The White Night of Galleries is, as such, not just a white night. The White Night of Galleries wishes to establish the map of contemporary culture in the cities where it is taking places and we hope it encompasses other cultural centers in the future,” explains artist Suzana Dan, the initiator of the project.

The list of participating venues can be found here.

The program of the event is being updated here.
