A new exclusive culinary get-together with fresh seasonal products from local producers and tasting of premium wines will take place on the 11th of September at Conacul Cândești, Buzău county.
Our partner company Terra Carpatica will provide a premium brunch with fresh, regional and high-quality products according to the slow food concept. Enjoy this unique combination of old forgotten Romanian food traditions and modern fusion cuisine.
Conacul Candesti is a historical place and one of Romania’s oldest mansions, dating back to the 17th century. The mansion is located in the Buzau County at the crossroad between Transylvania, Moldova and Wallachia. Many famous Romanians were guests at the mansion such as the painter Nicolae Grigorescu, Romanian writer and poet I.L. Caragiale, the aviation pioneer Henri Coanda and others.
One of our aims at City Compass Tours & Events is to promote and support areas and venues which are off the beaten path. We have chosen this location in order to support together with our guests its restoration and to make sure it will continue to make history!
