The Antipa Museum will host every Thursday at 18:30, from March 5 to 26, a workshop for writing personal essays for applications for scholarships, universities and professional development programs abroad.

The workshop will be held by Simina Mistreanu, journalist with experience in the United States and Romania. She graduated MA in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, during a Fulbright scholarship and obtained from the university the most valuable postgraduate distinction, the O. O. McIntyre scholarship. She wrote, among others, for publications like The Oregonian, The Wichita Eagle, Columbia Missourian, Esquire Romania and Decât o Revistă, independent Romanian magazine.

The workshop will include real examples of successful essays, writing and structure exercises, and essay reading. By the end of the workshop, each student will be required to write a personal essay in English. Students will receive feedback from both the instructor and the other participants.
