After 45 years, Romania will again host the World Congress of Vine and Wine, being at its 36th edition. The event will take place between June 2 and June 7, at the Parliament House in Bucharest. The 2013 edition will bring to Bucharest wine specialists and producers from 44 countries, an important opportunity for Romanian wine market.
Besides the conferences, wine lovers can also join the tours held on many vineyards in the country: Murfatlar, Dealu Mare, Dragasani, Jidvei, and the Peles or Rhein Wine Cellars.
The Congress has both scientific software and social components, due to be held on 4 sections: viticulture, oenology, the economic and legal safety and health.
Romania is currently on the 10th place in the world and 5th in Europe in terms of vines planted areas.
