The National Business Information System (SNIA) of the Romanian Chambers of Commerce and Industry is an on-line platform which consists of real-time updated information on Romanian companies, products supply and demand, services and cooperation of Romanian and foreign companies, international tenders, investment projects and national and international events.

CCIR is the first operator of the Electronic Archive for Security Interests in Movable Property in Romania (AEGRM), being authorized by the Ministry of Justice to create entries in AEGRM, an electronic registry, organized as a single database, through which there are published legal ads on legal relationships on the guarantee of civil and commercial obligations.

CCIR elaborates studies, statistics and analysis, at national level, in order to improve public policies which have a direct impact on the activity of economic agents in Romania.

CCIR is the national entity, invested by the law, to approve the existence of force majeure, which exonerates the contractual liability of the debtor – professionals. It is also authorized by the law to issue certificates of origin – documents used in international trade, which certify the merchandise’s origin country, where this has been produced and to issue carnets for the temporary admission of duty free goods (ATA) – international documents, issued by the 67 affiliated countries, which allow the owner to temporarily (no longer than a year) import goods without paying the customs commissions and taxes which normally apply (including the VAT).
