“Remembering in Order to Forget” presents a photographic installation containing a number of works from Miri Mor “Monuments of Remembrance” series that is based on her desire to capture the nature of a disappearing world, in this case of archives in one of Romania’s national institutions.
The exhibition “Remembering in Order to Forget” was presented in January 2013 at the Zaritsky Artists House in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Autodidact photographer, Miri Mor has exhibited in several places in Israel, including the “Fresh Paint 5” art fair, 2012. In 2011 she exhibited at Copenhagen’s Kunsthal Charlottenborg Museum Spring Exhibition, and was ranked in the top ten among the Sony World Photography Award winners for 2012 in the Professional Still Life category.
The exhibition can be visited until March 7, everyday from 19:00, at National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest. Free entry.
