Saturday, April 6, the ArCub Hall will host a jazz concert where the ancient musical tradition of the Middle East and the Balkans will be combined with contemporary jazz and improvised music by the Dutch band Arifa.

Arifa’s members come from Romania, Turkey, Holland and Germany, their music being as diverse as their origins, traveling from Anatolian and Balkan traditions to jazz and classical music. “Anatolian Alchemy” is the second released album since the band’s debut 3 years ago, and managed to conquer stages from 5 continents with their music. Both discs, “Anatolian Alchemy” and “Beyond Babylon” were awarded with 5 stars and received a particular attention on the international music scene.

The concert will begin at 20:00 and tickets can be purchased from network until Friday, April 5, at prices between RON 27 and RON 35 depending on the category.
