Street and documentary photography will take the spotlight at the Bucharest Photo Week, set to take place between September 26th and October 2nd.

The event, at its third edition this year, includes photo exhibitions, classes and workshops, and screenings.

Street photography will be the focus of exhibitions such as Street Visions, a collective street photography exhibition opening on September 26th at Education Point. The exhibition is the result of a call for entries organized during Photo Romania Festival and gathers works by Marius Cinteză, Nicolas Zielinski, Oana Stoian, Goutam Roy, Jeff Larson, Marion Hegarty, Rafael Ianos, Alexandra Anghel, Cristian Munteanu, Eli Driu, Michele Liberti, Oliver Merce, Swarat Gosh, Cristina Irian, Andrea Torrei, Cosmin Gârleșteanu, Arek Rataj, Sorin Suciu, Octavian Cucolea and Florin Ghebosu.

On SPOTlight is a collective and international exhibition, with participants from Romania, Italy, Brazil, Phillipines, Indonesia, Israel, Germany, Croatia, France, Switzerland, Lithuania and Bulgaria. The exhibition is the result of a photography competition and the main theme is the creative use of light in street photography. The opening takes place on September 27th at F64.

The exhibition Our way to Cuba II opens September 28th at the Peasant Club, at the Romanian Peasant Museum. The work of Gina Buliga and Bogdan Comanescu, it continues the 2015 exhibition of the same name and explores how consumerism and contrasts shape the country
