Some of the most interesting films on recent political themes will be screened at the third edition of the CINEPOLITICA International Film Festival, which will take place between April 8 and April 13 at Elvira Popescu Studio and Union Cinema.
The two main sections, Competition and Panorama will bring up current issues of freedom of expression in Russia or Iran, the protests in various parts of the world, the monopoly of big pharmaceutical companies, the future of North Korea, and past history of state decisions that have changed lives.
Some of the films competing at this festival are: ‘Closing Ceremony’ (China, 2012), ‘North and South’ (South Korea, 2012), ‘Diplomacy’ (Berlin, 2014). The full list can be viewed here.
