French Chef David Contant will cook a private Christmas dinner at the Iconic Food Wine & Design restaurant in Bucharest on December 10. For the Christmas à la Contesti – Romanian Christmas with a French twist menu, he will prepare for participants traditional Christmas dishes reinterpreted with an haute cuisine twist.

The ingredients used are 100% natural and come from David Contant’s own ecological farm in Contesti, 40km away from Bucharest, where he grows his own vegetables and animals. He says he makes haute cuisine after his own standards, with control on the ingredients’ quality. The menu is available here.

Part of the dinner program is Trupa AS, winner of the TV Show Contest “RomâniaDansează” in 2013, performing the “Călușari Dance” and a Romanian Dance from Oaș area, dressed in Maramureș traditional outfits.
