After visiting Romania in the fall of 2013, Dylan Moran will return to the capital with a new stand-up comedy show, set for February 3rd at ArCuB Batistei. Titled Off the Hook, the show is a premiere for Bucharest and the performer’s first new one in three years, allowing Moran to tackle topics such as love, politics, or the day to day absurd.

Moran made his debut on the stand-up scene in 1992 and in 1993 he received the award of the So You Think You’re Funny competition at the Edinburgh Festival. He is a constant presence at dedicated festival such as Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival or Kilkenny Comedy Festival. In 2007, he came out 17th out of 100 best stand-up comedians in a top put together by Channel 4, and three years later rose up to number 14. He also performed in TV series and he also appeared on the big screen in 1999 as Rufus in the romantic comedy Notting Hill.
