The fifth edition of the largest digital festival in Romania will take place during April 24 and 26, at Bucharest’s Sala Polivalentă. DreamHack holds the Guinness world record for The World’s Largest Digital Festival category. In 2013, there were 17,403 systems connected to DreamHack Winter in Sweden. Initiated by Swedish gamers, the festival has expanded rapidly in many countries in Europe, including Romania.

The 2014 fall edition in Bucharest gathered several LAN Party national records, including: 10 Gbps bandwidth, 4.3 TB total traffic, 50 kilometers of network cables, 32 kilometers of video and audiocables, USD 120,000 prizes, 40 hours of activities, 1,600 devices connected simultaneously to WiFi and no less than 2.2 million online viewers.

In 2015, DreamHack Bucharest brings popular games like Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO), DOTA 2, League of Legends, HearthStone and Minecraft. Whether professional or amateur players, participants can also join a series of related events like Legends Cosplay, DreamHack Arena, High School Cup, DreamHack Arcade, as well as special areas BYOC (Bring your own computer), exhibitions with the latest gadgets, peripherals, technologies and digital entertainment.

The tour is broadcasted in several languages via TV channels and online streaming platforms. For those who wish to watch the events on the spot, the festival has specially designated areas for spectators.
