Morocco born singer and actress Hindi Zahra will hold her first concert in Romania on October 15th, starting 20.00 at Bucharest’s Sala Palatului.

Influenced by singers like Cheikha Rimitti, Hindi Zahra was compared to Beth Gibbons of Portishead, Manu Chao, Billie Holiday, Patti Smith, and Norah Jones. Her musical style can be defined as world music, drawing inspiration from the gypsy, American folk, jazz and blues music. Her debut album, titled Handmade, received the Constantin award in 2010 for the musical discovery of the year in France.

In Bucharest, Zahra will perform with her band and promote her new album Homeland, from which the single and video Any Story was already launched.
