American metal band Helloween and German band Gamma Ray will hold a concert on March 16 at Arenele Romane in Bucharest. The concert is part of the « Hellish Rock Part II » tour, that had its debute in 2007 and traveled through over 30 countries.

Helloween was founded in 1984 by the lead singer Kai Hensen, Michael Weikath (giutar), Marckus Grosskpf (bass) and Ingo Schwichtenberg (drums). They were easily remarked as a true road openner in terms of power metal in the European rock scene. The band’s first three albums « Walls of Jericho » and « Keeper of the Seven Keys » Part 1 and Part 2, are considered masterpieces, combining the authentic sonic metal with the overwhelming intoxication of the ear, specific to pop music.

Gamma Ray was founded in 1989 by Kay Hansen, the former vocalist from Helloween after he left the project. The band has released 10 albums and is preparing the eleventh «TBA », which will appear in January next year.

The concert will begin at 19:00 and entrance tickets can be purchased from network and cost RON 97.
