French musician Jean-Michel Jarre will deliver a performance in Cluj on November 11th, at Sala Polivalenta. The concert is part of the artist’s world tour titled Electronica, which started in Europe last month.

Known for the fascinating visual effects and for using the most recent digital technology, the show promises a captivating music travel. Besides the new pieces from the Electronica album, the artist will present some of his well-known albums, such as the 1976 Oxygene or the 1978 Equinoxe.

With his large-size concerts, Jarre established many Guiness records, including one for an audience of 2.5 million fans for a concert organized in front of La Defese in Paris. He took his own record down when he performed at the 850th anniversary of the city of Moscow in front of 3.5 million fans.

Besides the Cluj concert, the tour stops in the UK, France, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Switzerland and more. The tour comes after the release of Electronica 1: The Heart of Noise, which includes collaborations with artists such as Rone, Pet Shop Boys, Primal Scream, E.S., Julia Holter, Gary Numan, Jeff Mills, Peaches, Siriusmo, Yello, The Orb, Sebastien Tellier, Hans Zimmer, Cyndi Lauper and Christophe. Electronica Vol. 2: The Heart of Noise is available in pre-sale on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.

Jean-Michel Jarre has previously held two concerts in Romania, in 2008 and 2011, both in Bucharest.
