The first edition of Latin American Film & Experience festival will take place between September 14th and September 18th in several venues throughout the capital.

The event aims to focus at each edition on one Latin American country and the one chosen this year is Chile.  As such, three feature films coming from the country will be screened at the event: Talion (directed by Martín Tuta), El Boton de Nacar (directed by Patricio Guzmán), La Memoria del Aqua (directed by Matías Bize ). At the same time, the festival will open with the screening of Historia de un Oso (directed by Gabriel Osorio), the Chilean short film that won an Oscar this year.

Besides the film screenings, the festival will include photo exhibitions, nights featuring Latin America dances, tasting sessions with dishes from the continent and meetings with friends of the festival, who are either from Latin America or have travelled there.

Some of the venues where the event takes place are: The Cervantes Institute, the yard of the French Institute, Elvira Popescu Cinema and Point.

Tickets for the event can purchased at Passes for the film screenings cost RON 70, while passes for all events in the festival are priced RON 120. Tickets can also be purchased for each film screening.
