The concertmaster of the famous Italian ensemble Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Ladislau Horváth, will lead a concert called “Mozart Evening” on Friday, January 18, at National Radio Orchestra. The musician has recorded many performances as violinist and conductor on the world scene. Also, the public will be able to see and hear the Romanian violinist Cristina Anghelescu, concert soloist in orchestras and Radio choirs, known to be present on national and international stages.
The concert will begin with the “stage director” overture in C major, who will entertain the audience, after which another sheet of this brilliant young musician: Concerto no. 4 in D major for violin and orchestra. The last piece of the concert will be Symphony no. 41 in C major – “Jupiter”, one of the last creations of Mozart.
Ladislau Horváth is the representative of the fifth generation of a family of musicians in Transylvania. He started studying violin at 5 years, then studied at the School of Music in Cluj-Napoc and National University of Music in Bucharest. He became concertmaster of the Radio Orchestra and in 1989 he served as concertmaster of the Philharmonic “George Enescu” in Bucharest. In 1990 he settled in Italy, where, after a contest has become concertmaster of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra.
The concert will start at 19:00 and the tickets are available on bilete.ro network at prices between RON 20 and Ron 30, depending on the category.
