Padina Fest, the alternative music festival taking place each year at the Padina plateau in the Bucegi Mountains, is preparing for this year’s edition an exclusively local line-up. The festival is set to take place between July 28th and July 31st.

The Friday night of the festival will be dedicated to rock music and will feature Vita de Vie, Robin and the Backstabbers, Coma, E.M.I.L and Pixels, while Saturday will see a line-up made up of Suie Paparude (also the ambassadors of the festival), Golan, Gojira & Planet H, Baba Dochia and We Singing Colors. The Muntenia Philharmonic will deliver a rock recital, as part of the event, on Sunday morning, while Thursday evening is dedicated to new groups.

As it happens at every edition, the festival also aims to promote the Bucegi Mountains and high-altitude tourism, and to educate on preserving the natural patrimony of the area. Various mountain sports activities will be part of the event.
