The permanent exhibition of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant in Bucharest will be temporarily closed as the building accommodating it is undergoing restoration works.
The permanent exhibition will be open until July 3rd.
The public will still be able to visit the temporary exhibitions located in Tancred Bănățeanu hall, Foaier hall, Librărie hall and Acvariu hall, but also the Peasant Art Gallery, which is open in the museum’s store. Film screenings held at the Horia Bernea hall will continue as well.
At the same time, the museum is organizing throughout the month of July a series of workshops for children. The workshops cover such areas as glass painting, tailoring and sewing, drawing, paper making, pottery, small music instruments and more. Attendance at workshop costs RON 15 per participant.
