French pianist Richard Clayderman will be back in Romania for a new concert set for March 8th 2017, at Sala Palatului. The pianist will be accompanied by no less than 100 musicians, part of the Bucharest Symphonic Orchestra.

Known as ‘The Prince of Romance’, Clayderman has previously performed in the country alongside the musicians of the Royal Camerata, the ballerina Monica Petrica and coreographer Razvan Mazilu, and pan flute player Gheorghe Zamfir.

Clayderman is regarded as the initiator of the New Romantic trend in music. Throughout his forty-year career, he recorded over 1,300 songs and sold more than 150 million albums. With 267 gold discs and 70 platinum discs, he enterd the Book of Records as “the most successful pianist of all times.” “Ballade pour Adeline” is one of his best-known pieces, remaining the soundtrack of many love stories.
