Adam Lambert and Queen are performing June 21st in Piata Constitutiei in Bucharest starting 17:00.

After first appearing together in 2009 in the finale of the American Idol show, Adam Lambert has quickly become a constant presence at Queen’s live concerts. They performed together numerous times on stage and in TV shows between 2012 and 2013. In 2014 their US tour sold out and they received together the Group of the Year title at the tenth edition of the Classic Rock Roll of Honor event, where they were also named Best Live Group of the Year. Last year they toured ten European countries, UK, France, Austria, Holland, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Poland, again with sold-out concerts.

Legendary rock group Queen has been active for more than 40 years, having amassed an impressive list of awards, distinctions, records, presences in Hall of Fame and performances. Their records sold hundreds of millions of copies, with numerous singles reaching musical and sales top ten. They continue to be active despite the death of their lead singer Freddie Mercury passed away in 1991.

Adam Lambert rose to fame in 2009 after finishing as runner-up on the eighth season of American Idol. Later that year, he released his debut album, For Your Entertainment, which debuted at number three on the U.S. Billboard 200. The album had several hit singles, including Whataya Want from Me, for which he received a Grammy nomination for “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.” In 2012, Lambert released his second studio album, Trespassing, and his his third album, The Original High in 2015.
