The Russian Film Festival will take place between November 19th and November 22nd at the Studio Cinema in Bucharest. The festival will open with Nikita Mihalkov’s most recent film, Burnt by the Sun. The screening is also meant to mark the 70 years anniversary of the director.
The festival is part of the Russian Culture Days celebrated this month in Bucharest. Director and producer Alexander Prosianov of the Filmmakers Union in the Russian Federation is the guest of honor.
Other Russian films screened during the event include Weekend (2013), The mystery of the hidden room or The schedule of the mother of a first grade pupil (2014).
