Tea & Coffee Festival starts today in Bucharest and announces a week full of culinary and cultural events. The event takes place in Universitatii Square, in the statues area, and in Bucharest’s tea houses and cafés.

From October 13 to 19, you can find out about the art of making tea and coffee, listen to concerts, watch demos and take part in dance workshops (such as bellydance, Bollywood dance, Greek dance), visual art workshops, tea & coffee ceremonies from India, South Korea, Japan, UK, Italy, Brazil, Turkey and Greece. Kids have a special day in the festival – “Day for kids who love tea”, on Saturday, October 18, starting at 15:00, at Caffé D’arthé (7 Popa Nan St.).

The tea houses and cafés in Bucharest hosting the Tea & Coffee Festival 2014 events are: Agra Palace (6 Mantuleasa St.), La un ceai (25 Luigi Cazzavillan St.), Bohemia Tea House (1 Poiana Narciselor St.), Elisabeta Theater (45 Regina Elisabeta Blvd.), Divan (46-48 Franceză St.), Cafe Verona — Carturesti (13-15 Pictor Arthur Verona St.), Dolce Bacio (61 Regina Elisabeta Blvd.), Caffe D’arthe (7 Popa Nan St.), Jos Pălăria (3 Regina Elisabeta Blvd.), Cafepedia Romana (2 Pictor Verona St.).
