Italian crossover tenor Andreea Bocelli will return to Romania in 2017 to deliver two concerts. One will take place in Bucharest, on June 22nd in Piata Constitutiei, and the second in Cluj-Napoca on June 25th.

The first part of the concert will include well-known opera pieces, while the second one is dedicated tto the latest songs from the performer’s two recent albums: Cinema and Romanza – The 20th Aniversary Edition.

Cinema celebrates some of the best soundtracks, including films such as Doctor Zhivago, Love Story, The Godfather, Life is Beautiful, Gladiator, The Postman, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, West Side Story or Evita.

A special edition of the album Romanza was launched this fall, marking 20 years since its initial release. The new album includes two new versions of the well-known piece Con Te Partiro (Time To Say Goodbye) and hits such as Vivere, Vivo Per Lei, Miserere or Romanza.

With over 80 million albums sold worldwide and a star on Hollywood’s Celebrity Walk of Fame, Bocelli is one of the best-known tenors of the moment. He performed in duets with famous artists: Celine Dion, Giorgia, Marta Sánchez, Sarah Brightman, Judy Weiss, Helene Segara, Helena Hellwig, Christina Aguilera, Marco Borsato, Mary J. Blige, Gianna Nannini or Laura Pausini. He performed for three presidents of the United States, royal families all over the world and for Pope John Paul II.
