For this Halloween, the Antipa Museum in Bucharest has prepared two events for kids and adults, both happening this Friday, October 31.
From 10:00 to 20:00, myth fans can find out the scientific truth about mysterious “vampire” animals, insectivores and black cats in a guided tour of the permanent exhibition of the world fauna. For thousands of years, people have been associating various animals with evil or angelic meanings, bad luck or good luck. The guided tour uncovers what lies behind the mythologies created by civilizations around the world.
The guided tours start at 11.00, 12.00, 13.30, 15.30, 17.00, 17.30, 18.00, 18.30 and 19.00. The price is RON 10 (EUR 2) and reservations can be made for a limited number of 25 persons per group.
The second event starts at 17:30. Kids aged 8 – 14 years can learn how to use their imagination, creativity and skills by learning how to sculpt pumpkins in a workshop organized by the Museum. They will receive a sculpting kit, the modeled pumpkin and a participation diploma.
The price is RON 70 (EUR 16) per participant and registrations can be made for a limited number of 15 places.
